Pastor: As the pastor of this growing family of faith we call University Circle United Methodist Church, I have a vision for our family of faith. I invite you to share this vision with me:
Our faith family is a place of hope that lifts the spirit. We are a place where God's gospel is experienced as truly liberating, exciting, inclusive, good news; good news that is relevant to the lives we live and lead.
People: We are a faith family drawn together, not out of rigid doctrine or fear, but as a result of the need to satisfy a hunger for worship which both points us to God and reveals God's presence in our midst.
Pastor: We are a faith family where our love for God is rekindled every time and everywhere we gather. We are a faith family where our love for God is acted out in building relationships that nurture the soul, give joy, promote healing and affirm great meaning in life. This faith family reality drives all that we do in fellowship, education, mission and program.
All: We are a faith family in which our love of God results in a commitment to share the message of God's love for – and presence in – all people. We affirm that this is the way of Jesus that saves lives, creates a deep, spiritual peace beyond all our understanding and makes a space where all are welcome all the time.
