Are you highly invested in space changes under consideration for the non-sanctuary areas of University Circle United Methodist Church? All interested persons are welcome to join in a discussion with our architects from Studio Techne. This event is called a “Charrette” which is a planning exercise designed to facilitate open discussion among all concerned persons of a given development or master planning project. Our architects have conducted many charrettes over the years and have found that this cooperative process can result in a clear, detailed, realistic vision for our church. Light dinner refreshments will be available and you can eat while you work. The program begins promptly at 6pm.
Our schedule for the evening:
6:00-6:15 – Welcome and introduction to the process
6:15-6:45 – Discussion of current facilities, what works, what doesn’t work
and future needs
6:45-7:45 – Sketching and planning session
7:45-8:30 – Discussion of planning ideas; feedback
