I am inclined to think that the source of my resentment is that I am constantly mindful of the fact that the level of airport security is a direct result of bad religion. The scrutiny is the result of fired-up religious extremists high on spiritual acid who practiced, and those who threaten to promote, bad religion. Our parents and grandparents -- no matter how old or how infirm and reliant on assistance -- are being electronically scanned and searched because of bad religion. Our children, no matter how small, are being scanned, their blankets searched and their carry-on baby formula amounts limited, because of bad religion.
