Bring your children, grandchildren, friends and neighbors to the Great Hall on Saturday, December 11th for a morning of HOLIDAY FUN in support of a great cause. Decorate your very own gingerbread house for Christmas and help support a Cleveland family who needs a home.
We will supply everything you need to create a fabulous gingerbread house – gingerbread, frosting and lots of candy! The house you decorate is yours to keep. Take it home with you or leave it on "display" for the all-church potluck and carol sing in the Great Hall on December 12th (and take it home following this event).
Tickets for this event are required and are available for purchase this morning outside the church office. When you purchase a ticket, you are "buying" a gingerbread house to decorate. (Tickets are not required for those who attend the event but do not decorate a house.)
The suggested price of each ticket is $10 although donations of any amount are welcome. All proceeds from this event will benefit Habitat for Humanity. Additional donations will be gratefully accepted from those who cannot attend the event but would like to help underwrite the cost of supplies and increase our donation to Habitat. Please make checks payable to University Circle UMC with a notation "Gingerbread Houses".
